After leaving Amazon due to burnout, Alex and his brother embarked on a transformative 3-month European adventure across 8 countries and 23 cities, traveling exclusively by train and staying in hostels. This journey sparked the idea for Let's Sidequest—bringing the excitement of discovery from hostels to your local city. Alex was inspired by how each destination offered curated lists of authentic experiences beyond typical tourist attractions. He created Let's Sidequest to help people discover those ephemeral, special events that make life richer and more adventurous, allowing everyone to experience their city with the same sense of wonder as a traveler.
